The Sanitation Division represents the first line of defense for the health and welfare of Lake Park residents. It provides solid waste collection services to both residential and commercial customers, which includes proper disposal of garbage, bulk trash, vegetation, and recycling materials. The Sanitation Division also procures and maintains garbage carts, recycling carts, and dumpsters to provide to its customers, and conducts public outreach to promote compliance with related federal, state, and local environmental and solid waste regulations.
The Sanitation Division operates as an enterprise fund supported by the collection of monthly commercial dumpster fees and annual Non-Ad Valorem assessments to residential properties.
