Access The Library’s E-books: E-cards Available For Adults
All (and only) Palm Beach County residents are eligible to receive Lake Park Public Library cards. In an effort to make it easier to access our digital collections of e-books, e-audiobooks, e-magazines, and videos, adults may sign up for e-cards by calling or emailing the library or through our website.
To obtain an e-card, please email us at askhere@lakeparkflorida.gov, or click on “Contact Us” in the tab on the left-hand side of the screen and fill in the information under “Ask Here!” Please include “e-card” in the subject line, or register through the library’s catalog. If you prefer, contact the Lake Park Public Library at 561-881-3330.
If you would like to check out items at the library, we invite you to come in and complete the library card application, which requires additional information as well as a valid driver’s license or state ID with your current address. If you have children, you may get them library cards at this time.
If your child’s school would like them to read e-books, they may use your account. The Lake Park Public Library cannot restrict access by children to any of the digital collections. Card holders can restrict their cards so that only materials appropriate for children or young adults may be found on Overdrive/Libby. Hoopla, and CloudLibrary.
When contacting the Lake Park Public Library via email or website, e-cards may take up to three business days to process. For further information, please contact the Lake Park Public Library at 561-881-3330, email us at askhere@lakeparkflorida.gov, or stop by during our regular business hours.
